Work It Out Wednesday: Motivation
Evening y’all! How many out there struggle to find the motivation to work out? I know I sure do. You’d think it would be so easy to say “yes, I’m going to treat my body right and get 30 minutes of exercise at least three times a week.” But one thing comes up, and then another, and by the time we actually have an open slot available in our day, we are way too tired to even get into it.
We all need that motivation to get our bodies moving and keep ourselves healthy. When you really think about it, though, that should be our motivation. To be healthy. The positives far outweigh the negatives.
With Work It Out Wednesday, I’ll be focusing on just that- working out. I’ll be reviewing some of the best workout routines, fitness apps, ways to motivate, and just how to keep on living a healthy life!
What motivates me? The fact that it’s simply a choice. I’m deciding on my future. I’m either setting myself up for failure in the future, by not taking care of my body now OR that I’m on the path to winning a healthy lifestyle by creating an environment in which I will keep moving now, so I will be able to move in the future with my children and grandchildren.
How we move now can predict how we will move in the future. I’m such an adventurous gal, I can’t imagine not being able to do all the things I plan to do throughout my life, but I can’t do those things if I’m not taking care of my mind, body and soul.
